How do i get my car started again?

I'm sorry this is a long story but I really need to explain it. I just got a new Battery, Serpetine Belt and Alternator about a year or so ago. My battery light has been on for a couple days. I was on my way to my Aunts house and all my guages stopped working. When I left I got a quarter mile down the road and stopped at a stop sign and my car stalled out and wouldnt start back up. I got a jump. Got a half mile down the road and it did it again but this time when I was going to put it in fifth gear it acted like I was putting it in first gear then it stalled out again and I just got towed home. Please help me!!
