my kenmore ultra fabric care 80 series washer will not drain out, what to d?

Hey Cindy....did the advice work? I have the exact same washer w/exact same problem!

Hi Cindy,
1. Buy a mop!
2. Disconnect electric, turn off water etc
3. Remove panel
4. Check sump hose for blockage - may be held on with large circlips - remove (try to catch water in bucket or tray) & clean out rubber trap also check pump filter if fitted (and pump blades if you can get to them)
5. If blocked, remove blockage, mop-up and reassemble. Joy!
If not
6. Check pump for free rotation - possibly need to replace pump (not always expensive)
If this doesn't work...seek help from professional.
