press your device key tv etc press and hold set up key led will blink twice. type code 991 keep pressing the power key slowly untill device switches to stand by this may take few minutes.make sure device is on beforehand.

For anyone who might need to knows information. I was having problems getting my Vergin Media Samsung box to be recognised, I eventually found it by a global search as per the manual (the code i found was 2171), this however has a lot of the functionality under the wrong buttons. e.g. the menu can be found by pressing the Volume - button. Still its better than nothing!

Press and hold TV until the LCD blinks then try each code and in between press standby, when the TV turns off that will be the right code. I have been trying on mine and it hasn't worked as yet!!! May work for you?

press the tv or digital button till the little light flashes once... then press and hold the setup button until it flashes twice input the code 991 and the light will flash twice again.. then keep pressing power on/off and tv/digital button one after the other until yourset top box turns on or off then press setup again and there ya go :) mat keyie3@yahoo.co.uk

In order for some one to help, you'll need to post what make of Freeview box you have as they are all different. Second I suggest that you put the new post in DTT Receivers as this forum is for electrical stuff and Freeview and remote control experts won't be looking at it.
