removing the glass from a double glazed unit?

To deglaze windows I use a cut-down broad bladed paint scraper sharpened slightly. After the handle there should be about 50mm of blade. To remove the beading select the longest bead and tap the scraper between the bead and frame and ease the bead away gently in 20mm incrments to start then all the way down/along. Always start with the long bead and when refitting, tap the short bead in first. Kev (klplastics@graffiti.net)
