how to fix a stiff clutch pedal on a ford mondeo?

Hi. This can be a fault on most cars but there are 2 symptoms for this. 1) if it is the pedal then if u look under ur stearing wheel at the pedals ur clutch pedal has a pin thru it keeping it in place a little wd40 can fix it by spraying the pin NOTE use an old rag and wrap it round the underneath of the pedal brakett so u dont get any on ur carpet when spraying the pin. symptom 2) this could be due to a threaded clutch cable u wont see it as its covered it will be threaded inside the cure to this is a new cable. Hope this helps
