how can i de-restrict a honda cbr 125r?

Lol 85mph on a cbf your having a laugh mate they only go 65mph i have owend one and now have a cbr 125r 2012 by fair fasyest 125 i have owend can get 80mph on a straight and about 85 maybe 86 down hill its like my 2010 yzf

put a 170 kit in it, my lad is 16 stone and it will pull 85 all day and rev out in top 92mph make all the 125 4 stroke look slow

Cant derestrict a four stroke 125 there is no restrictors ive got a2013 cbr125 repsol it does 81 down hill in 6,
Ive changed sprockets remaped and put an arrow exhaust this only got me 83 downhill!
Waste of money!
Custom gearbox and ported head is the way forward.

yo dudes i am about to but my first 125 now i like the cbr veryuch but does anyone reccomend any similair style bikes as cbr sounds like theres a hundred different restrictors and a pain to find parts for! all help is greatly appreciated!

a deecent service will get you the extra speed imo, after changing the wheel bearings and making damn sure everything is lubed up with the right liquids I got an extra 12mph out of mine, oh and a cheap way for more speed is to remove the mirrors, those things cause a lot of drag so removing them shoud give you an extra 5mph or so, also tyre pressure's help a lot, as for mods I went for a 14t front sprocket, 17t is just silly as the engine doesnt have enough power to drive it to top speed, hope this helps.

you can also remove the inlet valve washer put a performance induction kit on it 17 tooth sprocket on the front and a 46 on the back smash through the baffleing in the end can and more ive only done this and i can get 110mph out of my cbr 125 but hitting the rev limita

A 125 will never be fast. If you've got.a big bike license get a big bike. My ZZR1100 does 72 in 1st.

I have a standard 55 plate cbr125 and i got mine upto 85mph the other day if its warm and you keep it pinned in 5th but i would recomend this. My mate put a scorpion can on his and he couldn't get much more than 80mph think it depends on the bike but i would love to get it upto 100mph.

for joyce my cbr 125 rw7 08 plate i have just recently baught an arrow exhaust full system for it with removal baffle and was the best money ever spent the price for them are 279.99 my cbr used to do 70 no problem at all now it does 90mph no problem at all but i had to put a k&n air filter on to they are £30 well worth the money and F.Y.I remove the baffle out of the exhaust sound really nice and helps them to breathe better

sell it and buy an imported cbr 150 dohc because they are registered as a 125, they do about 100mph and if that still isnt fast enough get it remapped or just get your cbr remapped anyway

you cannot derestrict them unless they have a throttle stop or down jetted carbs.

it only cost £2.60 to make this bike do 90 mph you will need a 17 sprocket for the frount i done it and my bike will now do 100mph with K&N + scorpion end can

i can tell you instead of getting it de-restricted you can get it race tuned the same as racing bikes get. i had that done to my Honda CBR 125 R, and it hits about 100mph now. although its a very light bike and i dare not go that fast again. Race tuning costs around about £500 average.

i bought a new 2007 honda cbr 125. but it struggles to do 70. it will hold back in power, and wont go any faster. so yr ans i read, if i do that will it cure the problem. and roughly all in, what price would you be talking.

there is no set restrictor to take out it is just made to go the speed it does,the only way to gain power from it is to fit a big bore kit fit an aftermarket exhaust system and get an unlimited cdi unit and change the gearing by changing the sprockets i.e bigger front sprocket,it can go from 60 mph up to around 90mph so its worth doing it but it all costs money !
