I can i fix my matsiu tvr 185?

My remote does not work on my tv, how can i unlock it by useing my buttons on the tv.

check the remnote actually emits - get an a.m. radio, detune it and press the remote's buttons next to it. if it bleeps the remote is good. if not it is bad . get a cheap universal remote froma discount store to try. this set may have a grundig chassis so try those codes if matsui isnt there.
