Mend Kenwood A701A Service Years Ago Works

Noisy Kenwood a701a?

An old used Kenwood a701a. sent for service some years ago and since always sounds noisy almost like metal on metal and works but smells slightly hot. I Stopped using but on retirement would like to use regularly again. Can I get in it to make sure it is greased/oiled?
