Mend Qualcast YT6702 Motor Start Seconds

How can fix my qualcast scarifier?

I have a qualcast YT6702 scarifier used it last year and it worked fine but when used this year the motor and splines start but within a few seconds the motor stops I then can restart but it will not run continuously.
Any ideas
