Repairing pitted lower track on tall larder unit mechanism?
Howden's pull-out tall larder unit, 5 years old, parts not available now.
One lower track has become slightly pitted about halfway along (why?!), meaning that the weight-bearing plastic wheel on that side sets up a slight vibration in the whole metal carrier when the unit is opned or shut.
Adhesive aluminium tape over the pit, or metal epoxy putty? Will either last?
