Qualcast QX 35S carb?

I have fitted a brand new tecumsah carb to my mower and filled with new petrol.Can anyone tell me the adjustments to start off with as the mower starts,runs for a while,then cuts out,is a job to start but then does eventually and repeats
the process.The carb has a spring loaded adjuster.thanks.Graham
