Mend Bosch 3600H47B47 Replace Trimmer

replace cable on bosh 3600 H47 B47?

Got a bosch 240v hedge trimmer . The cable has been cut about 18 inch from the machine wanted to re connect it, but bosch have put one different screw to the rest in the casing. It looks like a spline or hex key with a centre pin I have got some drivers like this but non fit. Do Bosch prefer people to just tape the damaged wire up.

Bosch Hedge Trimmer Cable Repair - Help!
