Replace a wireless termostat with a hard wired one?

My BR1 receiver and BRS242RF Transmitter stat keeps failing, how easy is it to replace these with a hard wired thermostat instead??

It should be a very simple job, depending on which room stat you buy. The wires would connect to the same terminals in the wiring centre that the receiver was connected to.
