My Stannah 260 clicks and goes to move but doesn't?

There is an orange light on handle to show charging and green light goes on when switched on. Thought it was the batteries so bought new ones but still just a click and as though going to move but doesn't. Called engineer out who said it was the board he thinks so bought new board which son fitted and still same although it doesn't beep now when off charge point. No 7 light goes on if that's any help. I can't afford to called specialist company out again so can anyone suggest what it might be? I tried all the sensor points and they seem ok just by pressing them. Help please
