Mend Accent gen4 Moved Property Instructions

How do I change the code on an Accent gen4 alarm LED?

We have moved into a new build property and we have tried to change the alarm code. After following the instructions and trying to change the code the alarm started to go off. It eventually stopped but the outside light is flashing. It now won't accept the old or the new code. Any advice please?
