Mend Delonghi Toaster Stay Toast

4 slice Toaster not working?

Hi guys I have a 4 slice Delonghi toaster and one side of the toaster the handle will not stay down and so it doesnt heat up to toast the bread. The other side is fine. I have emptied out the crumb tray underneath but no luck it doesnt work, is there a fix?
