Mend Tap Water Work

Loose flickmixer handle?

I have a flickmixer kitchen tap and when I turn it on the handle slowly comes down and shuts off the water by itself. It will work in full on position but anything less and it shuts down by itself. It is only 8 months old. Any ideas?
