Mend Error Code 3

error code 3?

My electric fireplace shows error code 3 and beeps. The unit is setting level in wood floors. A video on YouTube says replace my switch but hate to myself if this is not the issue. Error 1 in the past was corrected by tilting the unit and plugging back in. Is there an easy fit?
