Kenmore Elite HE 3 Water in the Drum?

I have Kenmore Elite HE 3 washing machine. I have been fairly happy with the washing machine. What I have notice over the last 3 weeks that all the water is not draining in the tub. Occasionally one of my little daughters sock will get lodge in-between the rubber and drum. I use to gentle pull back the rubber and pluck out the sock. Now I have 2 inches of water.

Any suggestion on how to fix this problem?
