Mend JCB CD20V Cordless Fully Charged

my jcb cordless 20v combi drill is broken how can i fix it?

I have a fully charged battery working perfectly but I put it in to the drill and pull the trigger it turns for 3 seconds then cuts off what could the fault be and how can I fix it?
the battery still has full charge after this
