How long is the thermostat capillary tube on a Scandinova LF111D larder fridge? Need to replace the stat, but can't be sure which stat to use, lengths available seem to be either 1200mm or 3000mm.
Thanks Acp. A: Could you tell me where I can get the "both"s & what to ask for? Any available online? Espares & all the others I've tried just tell me the part is obsolete. B: The old one (a Danfoss) is still working, but badly (top of fridge needs a periodic thump, then sometimes freezes the interior) & the fridge is not at my place; it's better that the owner can continue to use it until I have a replacement. By guessing the route of the original capillary still fitted (ie temp contol to rh side to back then diagonally down behind internal panel), it seems to be about 1800mm long, but is looped around behind the panel unnecessarily, so one about 1200mm might just do. Plan A: Buy both, return one.
Plan B: Since the old one has gine TITSUP*, pull it out and measure it
Plan C: Think of something else
*TITSUP = Total Inability To Support Useful Performance
