Mend Briggs & Stratton M4 Major 801 Mower Will Not Start

Mower will not start?

I have a Briggs & Sratton 18" mower model M4 Major type 801 which will not start, new plug fitted,tension on the starting cable fine.
No idea where to stop.
Your help would be welcome.
