Fault on Aqua-tronic 8.5 KW shower unit?

everything in order except water is coming out of what appears to be overflow tube hence reducing water flow from main pipe.

Probably the safety valve is leaking - it may have been overpressured and vented and now has a bit of dirt in it, ot it may have failed.
