Mend Hotpoint AQ9D69I Front Removal Replace

Hotpoint AQ9D 69 I Front Panel Removal?

I need to replace the lower counterweight on my Hotpoint AQ9D69I washing machine. As far as I can tell I need to remove the front panel to remove the securing bolts for the weight. How do I remove the front panel? I might be wrong but looks as if the front panel is spot welded to the main body. Any help much appreciated.

Thank you 67. I have managed to do it without taking the drum out. You need to lay the machine down on its back and you need a small ratchet. It also helps to have small hands. There's not much space but it is do able.

You are correct it is welded, you have to take the drum out the top of the machine on this model
