Mend Stoves 720EF Oven Door

Stoves 720ef bottom oven door?

There is a metal piece or flap across the bottom of the main oven door of our Stoves 720 EF double oven that does not retract properly when you close the door, and is now visible below the door when it is closed. Is this fixable?
