How do I fix the clutch on my 1.8LX mondeo (1998)?

How do I fix the clutch on my mondeo? Its a 1998 1.8LX and the clutch will need replaced. There are different kits at different prices and am not sure exactly what i need.All I know is that it now slips at all times and has to be fixed. Is it an easy or difficult task to carry out?
