AEG Favorit 40660 dishwasher leaking?

I have become an expert at sorting the error 30 message by tilting my dishwasher backwards or to the sides.
However, on the last occasion a few months ago, I had to buy a complete riser assembly due to a previous leak in a hose which was the cause. This was fine until now.
On this occasion it appears water is coming out of the dishwasher softener assembly holes on the left hand side where there are four grommets where the regeneration doser fits into the top of the softener assembly unit and forms a seal. The water goes into the bottom tray and, of course, the pump remains on.
Has anyone had this problem and is there an easy fix?
