pcb board fuse ?

Stannah 420 stairlift. The fuse on the PCB board keeps blowing have put new batteries in had a spare PCB board so changed that as well but with no effect

The 500 ma fuse protects the control circuit. You have an earth fault in the wiring. The most common place is in the seat where the swivel bar mechanism is. It is really a job for a stairlift engineer to check out the wiring with an insulation tester.

You need to find out what the fuse protects from and why it keeps blowing, rather than just replacing things willy nilly
