there is NO radiation,but what there is a capacitor that stores around 10.000 volts check to see if there is an access dorr on the side

There are dangers inside a microwave - users are not encouraged to mess with them - electric shock - even when unplugged - and radiation - so take care.
To access the bulb to change it you will need to remove the covers.
