Mend Cannon Chester Dear Sir Madam

Cannon 'Chester' gas cooker - change cooking mode?

Dear Sir or Madam.
My Mother has a Cannon Chester gas cooker. The problem is that the display shows a cookpot symbol and the oven will only cook in 'slow cooking' mode. Mum needs to return to 'normal' cooking mode but is unable to do this.
Any ideas ?

I dont think gas cookers have a "slow cooking mode".

It could be the flame failure device has failed or is not having the flame playing on it properly. If thats the case the oven will only come on at no more than low setting.

Yes. Find the model number and use that to look for a manual on the Cannon website
