Whole front leg has to be taken off, to do this: Remove Front Wheel and jack car up and place on Blocks safely, undo steering rack ball joint 15 mm locknut, undo drive shaft nut 32mm , undo bottom Ball joint 18mm locknut, punch ball joint bolt out with centre punch, undo brake flexi pipe braket on suspension leg 15mm nut, remove brake calliper 2 x 15mm Bolts, tie brake calliper up not to strain flexi brake hose, undo tie bar ball joint attached to suspension leg, 15mm locknut and 17mm nut behind bracket you will need two spanners, place a bar between bottom A frame, the piece connected to bottom ball joint, push bar down to release bottom ball joint, pull suspension leg outwards carefully gently tap out Drive Shaft with rubber mallet, suspension leg should now be free, while holding the wieght of the suspension leg undo top damper nut 18mm, suspension leg can now be pulled free from car, to remove the spring you will need spring compressors, (do not attempt this job without spring compressors) place compressors on the spring adjacent to each other, tighten the spring compressors equally, when the spring is compressed enough, the top damper nut can be undone 18mm nut, remove spring top plate, bearing and rubber mount plate remove compressors and repeat on new spring when the new spring is compressed enough place onto suspension leg, the spring top plate, bearing,rubber mount plate and damper nut can be replaced, remove the spring compressors, the suspension leg is now ready to fit onto the car
