new brushes?

i need to fit new brushes to my power deil pdw5010 pillar drill, as whe its switched on, it doesnt turn unless you spin the chuck by hand to get it started. guessing iys the brushes, anyone know where to get them and how to do it?

You might try Solent Tools for brushes 023 8057 8057.

Your drill press problem will not be the brushes - it will be a defective start/run capacitor - available all over the place - just get the values printed on the can - Amazon sell these things.

On my drill press the capacitor is under a case on the back of the motor - just take the lid off.
