It may be the timer not set properly, as below, or a failed element. Easy enough to change and plenty of self-help videos available (e.g., YouTube) for those prepared to search

The automatic delayed timer may be operating - wait 24 hours or reset the clock.

Switch the power off and on again so that the clock flashes
Depress and hold in buttons 2&3 from the left
Use the plus and minus buttons to set the time
Any time will do
