how to fix my car, ford fiesta lx 1.4?

i have a semi automatic ford fiesta lx 1.4 2003. it won't start. changed the starter motor and put on new battery but still it won't start and doesn't crank everytime i tried to start it. can someone please help me.. thanks in advance
