Mend Veritable 8C Power 10 Panel

Veritable 8C no power?

I am a landlord and returned to the property after 10 years. The panel had no power to it, so swapped one of the internal fuses which then powered up, the panel alarm went off and the original code silenced it. The following day whilst the panel was unarmed, the bell box alarm went off and when I went to the panel there was no power so I was unable to disarm the bell box alarm. Non of the internal fuses looked to have blown or the main external fuses. After about half an hour the bell box sounder stopped. I just don't know where to start.

whatever mate you are on your own, you have no manners, hope you get ripped off by an alarm engineer.How you can be stuck on such rubbish is laughable so some good has come out of this daft question.

you can't check the fuses just by looking at them, you need a meter, I highly suspect both the battery fuse and the psu fuse have both blown.you need some glass fuses (if you are lucky there might be a small packet in the panel) 1 amp fast blow for battery and 1.6 amp for the psu.

should get it back up and running. let me know how you get on. watch out for mains voltage in the panel it is lethal if you are not careful.
