How do I enter the code for a Grundig 200 Car Radio ?

Entering the code by holding in the AS button, then turning on the ignition, then waiting three secons doesn't work.
Please help!

first switch ignition on then hold as button while switching radio on,keep hold of as untill confirmation bleep then enter code
