how can I reset my optima plus 2 thats in tamper mode?

optima/accenta is one of the worst panel's you can buy, along with the yale and response systems. in fact I see a lot of these now on houses which is very worrying.

Sounds like a nvm glitch to me mate.

Maybe you didn't restore factory settings after initial power up and just commenced with the programming?.

Either way I'd restore factory settings then reprog but if it faults again by way of a program loss I'd give tech a call.

its a piece of crap mate, no point lying to you, rip it out and fit a scantronic panel you can't go wrong with them.

Hi all I installed a guardtec 600 gt into a customers property. On Friday and today I receive a call saying the alarm is sounding.On investigation the logs read nothing untoward only that zone four had caused the activation.

I walk tested the system only to find that zone four was not responding then further investigation showed that the zone had lost its programming.This morning I reprogrammed zone four again and left after testing the system.

Guess what I've had another call saying the alarm is sounding and yet again zone four has lost programming.I've left the panel in engineering untill I can hopefully quickly resolve this so have you lads on here have any ideas please.

Brass terminals are the tamper circuit pair.
Chrome terminals are the alarm circuit pair.

Connect correctly and reset then walk test the system not forgetting to test the bells etc.

Go back and re connect the PiR / put the lid back on correctly
