Mend Honeywell 9800 Sounder Going Fault

9800 alarm?

Ive had my alarm for 15 years without any trouble , but recently the internal sounder keeps going off and there is a fault code on the keypad saying rp. remote keypad missing. Can anyone suggest how i solve this problem
