Ovens not getting hot?

Ovens not working iv replaced the element but it's still not getting hot

You don't bother to give us make and model but one thing caught me out when I last worked on an over with a timer - You'll have turned it off at the main when you worked on it (one hopes) - Did you reset the clock and select "manual" for the oven?
