Mend Tv Straight Away

tv isn't coming on straight away?

I have a 15" LCD digital tv in my caravan. Every time we put the tv on and re tune it, it doesn't come on, and we can't get the menu either. After 2 to 3 days it finally does work.
Any ideas as to why this is
