Mend Hotpoint FZA30 Temperature Freezer Problem

How to know adjust the temperature?

The Hotpoint Future FZA30 has a button on the door to adjust the temperature. It has a notch to use a coin to turn the screw adjustment but it simply goes round and round. There is no stop so it is impossible to tell which temperature is active. Is this a common problem or just our model?
