I use it as a crash for cash camera but it 'times off' is there a time off overide if so I can't find it.
Or can anyone in UK recommend a reasobly priced dashboard standard camera that just records journey.with no fancy extras

Yes searched net can't find anything. Contacting canon waste of time still waiting response from 18 months ago after resending twice.
