Mend Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 i SR Alternator

fan belt replacement on vauxhall corsa 1.4 i sr 1995?

I cannot move the alternator' all nuts are loose and the adjustable bolt still wont move the alternator it is rock solid. I have thought it might be ceased up' as i believe it is the original fan belt . Any helpful suggestions would be great.
