Footrest won't stay down?
My dad (who's 97) has an old Stannah 250 stairlift which works fine except that the footrest won't stay down, unless he puts his feet on it. The seat will stay in the up or down position but not the footrest - it springs back up making it difficult for him to get on. Any thoughts please?
