Mend De Dietrich HM8928E:21 Button Switch Cooker

Replacing button switch board in a De Dietrich cooker hood ?

I have bought a replacement button switch board for a De Dietrich hood model HM8928E:21 about 12 years old. I cannot remove old switch box despite removing the 2 holding screws underneath. Its loose but just will not come out. Any ideas?
