Obviously carry out the procedure with the system in the UN=set state...you can either put the panel into engineering if you know the code or simply remove the cover of said pir then enter your code to silence the internal tamp alarm.

Make a note of the pir wiring before you remove the cores and be careful not to let any short by touching each other .

You can either join onto the existing pir wiring or run a new length from the panel.
