Mend Westwood T1800 Ignition Switch Engine Key

how can I get my mower to start ?

westwood t1800 mower I have no connection from ignition switch to engine I turn the key and nothing is there a block out fitted to this mower if yes can you tell me how to reset the same when we purchased it the guy just jumped on the mower and it started straight away when we got it home I must admit we fumbled the starting procedure so have we put something out of wack . please respond Vince
