how do i put the belt back into my bissell bagless vacum model 6579-2?

Unscrew the bottom plate and take out the brush. You'll see a silver pin just behind the brush on the same side where the belt groove is on the brush. One end goes around the pin, the other around the brush. Pop the brush back in and screw back on the plate and you should be all set!
