Just have obtained a fully working FP505 but with no manual
does anyone have a copy they could possibly to me?

Kenwood offer pdf copies of user manuals on their support site

I could not find a reference to FP 505 - perhaps it's an old model and no longer supported - they want you to buy a new one.
