Sam4ER-420M won't work?

I bought this till and when I put in the key, turn it to R I get a loud scream. Please help.

It might have a task waiting in another mode. Turn the key to each mode and press clear. If it doesn't stop in one of the other modes, it might have a flat battery and need re-programming
